Having a psychologically healthy and safe workplace is no longer discretionary, it’s the law. With so much emphasis on psychosocial risk management and prevention mental health harm, questions are being asked as to why what we been doing all these years been working and what we need to do differently? Reality is, no amount of TOIL, guest speaker or resilience program can address issues which as work overload, incivility or change fatigue. We need to get better at designing work that not just mitigates the risk of harm, but enables people and organizations to thrive.
