About Lane

Lane Hannah is the Learning and Capability Manager at One NZ, where he leads work to shape a future-focused approach to learning in a rapidly changing world. With a career in L&D spanning banking, retail, and now telecommunications, Lane brings deep insight into how different industries are responding to disruption. With a focus on supporting people to grow for the now and for the future, Lane works closely with leaders and teams across One NZ to ensure crucial skills are in place to help people do their best work. Lane is passionate about reimagining the role of L&D as a partner in helping people uncover who they could become, and equipping them with the skills, tools, and pathways to get there. As AI transforms the nature of work, Lane sees L&D playing a critical role in helping people recognise how their roles are evolving and how their skills can be applied in new ways—often in directions they hadn’t considered.
